Beyond the Cottage's private garden are more gardens which belong to us but which you are very welcome to make use of. These include . . . .
	. . . a gravel garden with raised pond, pergola, and swing seat; a formal scented rose garden; herbaceous borders, lawns; secluded rose and honeysuckle covered pergola with views over the surrounding countryside . . .
. . . formal vegetable garden and wildlife pond, and a croquet lawn for which mallets, balls, and if required, a lesson or two on the dastardly arts of play are provided . . .
	. . .a fenced and mown avenue gives access to the one acre paddock where dogs may run loose . . .
. . . free range rare breed hens occupy an electric fenced large chicken run: eggs for sale when available . . .

Dogs and pets welcome by arrangement.

Car parking is in a gravelled car park within the property, just off the public lane.

We have been welcoming visitors to The Gardener's Cottage for over 20 years and hope that they feel they are staying in a much cherished home rather than a "holiday cottage". Over 60% of our visitors are repeat bookings, so hopefully we are achieving our aim! We live in one of the two adjacent cottages so are on hand to help you if you have a problem but otherwise we keep a low profile.
